I had a smile like a candle in my heart

I loved you then as much as I have ever loved 

I had this joy in my heart that was only mine

I knew I would never lose the love that we shared

I knew we would be together in eternity

And the love we had now would be ours forever

When you left me sleeping in our soft bed

I had this terror that you would not come back

It was the most maddening feeling a terrible fear
