I love you more than rhyme nor reason
Some world I never want to explore

when I am done I will fall into your arms
you will hold me when the world is falling all around
my love for you is an ancient and pure thing
like the books I wrote for you that tell my heart
I've written them all my life and I always will write them
I write them because I'm madly in love with you
Love can mend a broken heart and love can heal
through our lives, it is the only real form of healing
that is all anyone has anymore, just to love one another
It's all that we really have anymore it makes me cry
inevitable love and love you cannot understand
things happen and we want to hold the one we love
but we cannot hold them in our arms where they will be safe
so we cry deep in our heart where you will be safe
my love for you will endure and I will feed you too
you will never be hungry and when you are I will cry
my heart is breaking to see you in pain and I pray
I wish I could reach out and help you darling
some day  our life won't  be this way
